FLEX BON & RADON MITIGATION Flex Bon can be very effective in sealing out deadly radon gas which seeps up through concrete floors in basements, especially in older homes. When used in conjunction with other mitigation systems, Flex Bon provides two key elements in stopping seepage that ventilation systems alone cannot. The two-component, 100% pure epoxy base coat not only penetrates deep into the substrate of the concrete, but also permanently bonds to the surface, eliminating seepage at ground level, whereas ventilation systems only deal with the gas that has already entered the atmosphere from below.
